I have always had problems with my feet in walking boots, usually ending a walk in the countryside with sweaty feet and heels covered in blisters. After trying several different brands whilst training for a trek around Mount Dhaulagiri, Nepal, I found socks from Bridgedale. I am so glad I did because I have honestly not had a blister since. Even during strenuous walks and whilst breaking in new mountain boots my feet stayed comfortable and dry. I am now looking forward to the trek, knowing that my feet will be properly cared for!

Bridgedale socks made a difference because... they are so well constructed to provide cushioning and support to the foot where it is most needed, keeping feet happy and comfy!

Well, I broke my leg on boxing day, sledging. (kind of sledging meets snowboarding). So after spending the whole winter unable to walk in the mountains, (the best winter conditions for 15 years or so..), I was desperate to get back into the hills. I needed a light pair of walking boots and so I called into our local shop. I bought a pair of boots after trying them on with a bridgedale Active Light Hiker sock. The socks were so soft and comfortable that I bought a pair to go with the boots. I have been using them ever since and even just to wear around the house.

Bridgedale socks made a difference because... the Bridgedale sock was tight round my foot but soft above my ankle. This was important because my break was just above my ankle and I didnt want to wear my old socks because they put too much pressure on my sore leg. The Bridgedale sock was soft and not too tight and so worked a treat.

I Bought my Bridgedales about 2 years ago.I was pushing the boat out in terms of cost but have not regretted it for one second. Every time I put them on I am so glad I invested in them, they are just so cosy. Also they seem pretty much indestructable. I have bored all my friends with stories of my sock love.

Thanks for making the greatest socks in the world! In my late teens I worked for a local outfitter when I purchased my first pair of Bridgedales. I believe that was in 1998 and that pair of Summits is still going strong after twelve years. What makes this story more incredible is that I dont just wear them on trips I wear them on a regular basis. I probably wear them on average one day a week.

I've been wearing Bridgedale socks for years now, ever since working a brief spell at Millets the camping store during university. As a keen runner, gym freak, and hiker I found that conventional sports socks would wear and split quickly. Not Bridgedale! While training they keep me comfortable and have lasted me years. Now with 3 marathons ahead of me I can't wait to put them through their paces again

I recently attended a week long land survival exercise in the Yorkshire Dales. As part of that training I had to move over 70km and survive off the land in only the clothes I was wearing at the start of the exercise. The terrain was difficult and I was constantly on my feet throughout the 5 days getting very little sleep.

Bridgedale socks made a difference because... they kept my feet suprisingly clean and very dry even after 5 days of continual wearing. They did need a good wash afterwards but there now ready to use again!

I had always problems with my feet in my skiboots, after a whole day of skiing, my feet were so sweaty and of course then very cold and not comfortable.
But then 5 years ago I bought a pair of ski socks from Bridgedale. Wow what a difference, never had any sweaty and cold feet again, so for me Bridgedale is the best.
Now I have more socks from Bridgedale also for my hiking trips, and also here I can say, no more other brands for me.
And no worries about washing, the will stay like if you had just bought them.

I got sucked in by a competitor's clever name, which made me feel intelligent for buying them (yeah, that one). Trouble was, they developed holes on the Continental Divide Trail (in Yellowstone) the first day out. I felt dumb and duped. I bought Bridgedales at the next town stop and hiked hundreds of miles further. No holes. I'm still wearing them today. When they say "enduring comfort" I for one am a believer.

Bridgedale socks made a difference because... ...they held up under every condition I threw at them (fording rivers, snow, ice, dust, gravel, and a lot of miles).

Was just trying on some new boots today with my pair of thin old socks which I use for walking, when it was suggested I should try some thicker socks. The saleperson suggested the Bridgedale Endurance Trekker's, so I slipped them on and put my feet in. It was like slipping your feet into the snuggest thing ever. What a life changing experience. Needless to say, they went in the basket!

Bridgedale socks make a difference because.... they fit me perfectly. I have always struggled to find socks that fit - as my feet are a UK small 3.... and these truly are the most comfortable socks I have ever owned. They are also beautifully warm. But the reason I am writing is because they have been a huge source of comfort to me during my achilles tendon injury - they have kept me warm and have squeezed over my plaster cast and are still going strong. They saw me through the snow and freezing cold winter in plaster and on crutches and I am very grateful. I have bought many different pairs now but the originals are still going strong after 3 years and the abuse of the cast and the ice! Thank you Bridgedale!
